In this 6-week course you will learn: • Pinch Pots: Master the fundamental technique of forming simple yet elegant bowls and vessels by pinching and shaping clay with your fingers. • Coil Building: Explore the process of constructing pottery by rolling and stacking coils to create intricate and robust designs. • Slab Construction: Learn to roll out slabs of clay and assemble them into structured forms like boxes, planters, and sculptures. • Surface Decoration: Experiment with texturing, carving, and applying glazes to enhance the aesthetic and functional qualities of your creations.
