Dive deeper into the art of ceramic hand-building with this intermediate course. Building on foundational techniques, students will explore advanced methods such as pinching, coiling, and slab construction. The course will also cover various glazing and firing techniques, allowing students to create both functional and sculptural pieces. Through hands-on projects, demonstrations, and critiques, participants will develop their personal style and artistic voice. What to Expect: • Experienced Instructor: Guided by Evelyn Arnold, a seasoned potter with a knack for hand-building techniques and a passion for personalized instruction. • Materials Included: 25 lbs. of clay are included with registration as well as use of studio glazes and firing of items created in class. **Pottery tool sets are available for purchase for students and studio members. • Personalized Attention: Enjoy a supportive learning environment with a small class size.
